Matt Kinel
Chicago!! Let me formally introduce myself. My name is Matthew Kinel (pronounced “kin-el”), but I have had a few short lived nicknames through the years. Such as Special K, Cutback, Sticky, and Drain-0, but I am still open to any new a creative nicknames if anyone has an idea. Back on topic, I am 22 years old, and I love sports. Football, basketball, and baseball are my favorites, and I follow recruiting and college sports as passionately as I do the professionals. Pro sports is an incredible product to watch, but the passion and tradition of college and high school sports has always been a draw to me. I love all my Chicago teams, the Cubs, Bears, and Bulls (sorry Sox and Northwestern) and am probably one the biggest Fighting Illini fans you’ll ever meet. George and myself are looking forward to having a lot of fun with you listeners, your Wednesday and Friday mornings just got my entertaining!!
