Nick Burzych
Born in Park Ridge, Illinois, Nick Burzych has always felt a desire to entertain. From preforming in shows to playing sports, Nick always enjoyed being the center of attention. As he aged, Nick quickly realized he had neither the stature nor the athleticism to pursue a career in athletics. The old saying goes, those who can’t do, coach, and those who can’t coach, well…that is why the broadcasting field exists. After spending years in the financial service industry, the twenty-six year old Chicagoan finally decided to chase his dream of being a broadcaster. In November of 2015, he enrolled in the Illinois Media School, where he is currently a student. With experience writing about Northern Illinois University athletics, most notably for SB Nation, Nick’s dream job is to one day be paid to cover the university instead of doing it for free. In the meantime, his plan is to continue to work hard in hopes of making his dreams come true.
