Lenox Industrial Tools 301 Preview

NASCAR heads to the land of the lobster this weekend. Fans get the opportunity to see crews try to get every last gulp of fuel in their car and see crew chiefs beat on calculators while drivers will be mashing the gas trying to go the extra mile this weekend.

The Race and The Place
This weekends race will be the Lenox Industrial Tools 301, a race that gives fans an extra mile at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Last year, Ryan Newman lead a Stewart - Haas sweep of the first two spots. A win that helped him into the 2011 Chase  for the Sprint Cup.

Drivers I'm Watching

  • Kevin Harvick  He is now a proud and "Happy" Papa. It always seems like great things off the track turn into great runs on the track.
  • Tony Stewart  Last weeks winner looks for win number four on the year. He finished second here last year.
  • Clint Bowyer  Bowyer got his first win here back in 2007 and has always been a force in Loudon.
  • Martin Truex Jr.  After starting off the year great, it seems the NAPA team has fizzled. He starts fourth this weekend and really needs a great run heading into the off weekend.
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.  Dale says this is one of his better tracks and also said he and his 88 team are in position to gamble a little bit more right now. Could we see a gamble pay off this weekend??
My Pick
  • Kyle Busch  Good news for Kyle is this weekends race is only a 301 mile race. He should be able to save the engine and put the number 18 back in victory lane.
Why TheNASCARTER Like's NHMS
I think my favorite part has to be the restarts here. They are always exciting  and I'm actually a fan of fuel milage racing that this track produces. Should be a fun one on Sunday and should get fans excited heading into the off week before Indy.
