Brad Keselowski was able to save gas late after fighting off Joe Gibbs Racing teammates, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch most of the race to win the 2nd Annual Quaker State 400.

What it Means
I think it's safe to say that Brad K. just punched his ticket to the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chase. He has three wins this season and sits tenth in points, 34 ahead of Carl Edwards. He may still fall out of the Top 10 but with todays point system having a Wild Card for drivers with the most wins in the top 20, I don't see him not making The Chase when it starts in just 10 races.
*Note: If this does jinx Brad Keselowski and he doesn't make The Chase, I wanna say sorry to all the Blue Duece supporters and I hope you still continue to read my blog and follow along with me on facebook and twitter.

Bad Night for SHR
Tony Stewart won't be singing "My Old Kentucky Home" after he suffered issues with his EFI early in the race and teammate, Ryan Newman (No relation to Randy Newman) who had engine troubles late, regulated the Stewart - Haas team to finishes of 32nd and 34th.

Up and Down Night for JGR
After Kyle Busch dominated the first half of the race, leading a race high 118 laps, he slapped the wall coming out of turn two which broke a shock mount. He ended up fighting hard and finished 10th but the car was not the same. Joey Lagano had more bad luck when he got into Clint Bowyer going down the front stretch after Ryan Newman ran into his back bumper. Joey had heavy damage on the car and ended up finishing 22nd. The bright spot that Joe Gibbs Racing is not only did Denny Hamlin announce a contract extension today, he also finished 3rd tonight and might of had something for the leader if he wasn't trying to save fuel.

Great Night for HMS
Saturday night marked a great night for Hendrick Motorsports. After loosing a lap early, Kasey Kahne was able to rally to a 2nd place finish and teammates Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon joined him in the top five by finishing 4th and 5th. Jimmie Johnson who led in the middle part of the race lost alot of track position after a restart with less than 100 to go when he thought he had a flat tire but was able to recover nicely and finish 6th.

TheNASCARTER's Take
Wow, Brad Keselowski is coming into his own, he now has a win at a short track, a restrictor plate track, and a intermediate track this year. I think this race will leave a lot of guys with confidence heading into next weekend. Guys like Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch, and even Carl Edwards all had top 5 cars and were in contention most of the night. At the same time, Stewart - Haas Racing isn't going to be  pleased by their efforts and that could be a bad thing with Tony Stewart clinging on to a top 10 points position.
